There are millions of people all over the world on the telephone right now. Many are just talking, but some are seeking legal advice, requesting emergency services, arranging finance, doing deals and making promises.
Do you ever wish you could replay those "lost conversations": recall the details of a financial agreement, to confirm 'who said what' in an emergency call, or check the details of a dispute.

How can you be sure exactly what was said?

Total Recall is a Voice Logger, an invaluable tool for everyone who regularly does business by telephone, or where radio communications are frequently used. Combining simplicity of use with over 1600 hours of online audio storage into a compact, self-contained unit, Total Recall will accurately record and easily recall important information, from today, yesterday, last week or last year.

 

Total Recall is easy to configure and operate, using intuitive navigation via 4 user menus, and touch responsive keypads for selecting or confirming instructions.



There are four user menus:

1. LOGGING - Current call activity and Live Monitoring.
2. PLAYBACK - Call search and playback via internal / external speaker.
3. ARCHIVE - Tag calls and Archive to CD.
4. CONFIGURATION - Control of system parameters like passwords, VOX sensitivity, beep tone and selection of Live Monitoring channels.




FEATURES

Automatic Recording of ALL Calls - Total Recall will automatically capture and securely record all phone or radio conversations which can be recalled whenever verification is required. Total Recall can also be used as a training and evaluation tool for staff who regularly conduct business with customers by phone.
Large Capacity Database - If a dispute or emergency arises, you can recall relevant recordings from the Total Recall database, which holds over 1600 channel hours of conversations. Recordings can be selected by date, time, phone number or channel number for instant retrieval and replay.
Compact Desktop Unit - comprises 4, 8, 12 or 16 analog channels in a single desktop unit. No software installation or external hardware is required.
Multiple Recording Inputs - Total Recall will record from any audio source on a channel selective basis, including telephone, radio, microphone, intercom and more. It's also possible to 'live monitor' on a channel selective basis.
Replay Options - selected recordings can be replayed via an internal speaker, an external speaker or headphones. For replay on a PC, install the Remote Recall software supplied with Total Recall. Remote Recall reads from an Archived CD and converts recordings for replay on a PC. It also enables the transfer of recordings as .wav files or encrypted files via e-mail. Text file information can be transferred via the serial port for use in spreadsheet applications. Calls can be monitored or replayed from the Total Recall unit when connected by the serial link and controlled by the PC running Remote Recall software.
Archive for Security - calls that need to be retained for longer periods can be automatically or selectively archived to an internal CD-R and kept indefinitely.
User Definable Options - recording can be set to VOX or Off-Hook, and a beep-tone is selective by channel. Password security ensures complete management control of the Voice Logger. Software updates are field upgradeable.

REMOTE RECALL SOFTWARE

The software that allows you to access logged calls from your PC

Remote Recall™ is a client software (Windows 95/98/NT4.0+) supplied with Total Recall. Calls that have been recorded on Total Recall can be replayed on a local or remote multimedia PC with Remote Recall installed. Archived calls on CD-R are transferred across to the local PC, converted as regular .wav files, and can then be e-mailed to any remote location for replay. It is also possible to access the Total Recall text file database from a PC via a serial (RS-232) link. The link is activated from the PC, and associated call data is downloaded to the Remote Recall database where it can be stored, or used for call accounting purposes, spreadsheet integration.



The search criterions are date, time, phone number, direction of the call (<>), channel.

Once a search has been activated, the results are shown in the window (above), and calls can then be tagged for replay via the multimedia PC speakers.




The recording is selected from the database listing for replay. The Remote player module controls the replay process.
When connected by the serial link and controlled by the PC running Remote Recall calls can be also monitored or replayed from the Total Recall unit.
