AudioCaster - Automatically "ON THE AIR"

AudioCaster is the new radio broadcasting automation programm from SEK'D. Non-commercial radio stations, local stations, schools, universities, hospitals, health resorts and military institutions are only a few potential users.

AudioCaster is a software-based programming application for the compilation of radio programs. It has been designed especially for use in local and regional radio stations.

The software program is well laid-out and can be operated intuitively. To integrate AudioCaster into existing mixers and to facilitate convenient fader start control, an appropriate interface card has been included.

Important Features of AudioCaster:
offers the most important broadcast functions - well laid-out, to be handled in a simple and intuitive way.
very good price/performance ratio
supports mixed audio compression standards
separate broadcast and management applications. You can install the management on multiple PCs and have different users work simultaneously on the playlist (network)
stand-alone operation and ready for networks based on standard components
close contact to the developers who offer customizations and changes
flexibility: fast adaptation to various mixers and control of various external equipment, e.g. studio lamps, possible
adaptable to different languages.

JingleCaster

The JingleCaster software (Windows 95/98/NT/2000) has been developed especially for users who need a tool for playing back audio material "on demand", i.e. in situations in which the files in the pool can be accessed quickly and specifically.

JingleCaster is suitable for any application, where audio material needs to be cued and accessed quickly (queue, spooler).

JingleCaster is especially well suited for theatres, radio stations, public halls, discos, train stations, airports , department stores and all situations requiring fast and interactive access to audio files. As with all SEK'D products, JingleCaster can be used in a network and is highly reliable.

Theatres: can use JingleCaster to trigger the sound elements (noises, ambient sounds) required for the respective performance at the push of a button.

Radio stations: can use JingleCaster to integrate jingles, spots, IDs etc. with maximum flexibility into programmes as they are being aired - independent of rigid schedules/playlists.

DJs: improvising complete events. Thanks to JingleCaster's flexible design, DJs can quickly respond to changing conditions and situations.

Train Stations, Airports and Department Stores: playback of commercial announcements / playback of commercials at the push of a button.

Most important Features of JingleCaster:
Playback of all common audio formats (WAV, MPEG2, MPEG3, Broadcast-Wave etc.) simultaneously to multiple outputs, with no annoying conversion procedures, etc.
Flexible interface design allows any adaptation required in programming.
Slot-operation or playlist-oriented call-up of pre-programmed sequences (stack)
Direct transfer interface to Samplitude for audio processing - no need to quit JingleCaster
Integrated user management / administrator function - indispensable if the system is used by several users (e.g. broadcast).
Can be used in a network (based on standard components) as well as stand-alone.
Maximum reliability, simple, intuitive operation
Convenient file management and search functions

CLAN (CUTmaster Linear Audio Network)

CLAN is the digital, networked solution for almost every daily broadcast production service. CLAN is fully scalable. Either you can use CLAN effectively as a complete solution for smaller radio facilities or implement CLAN modules into existing radio automation systems via the integrated software interfaces.

Individual components (CUTmaster, masterCART, CUTbase, EVENT, etc.) can be used independently or as a complete system.

This modular approach makes possible the development of a large, sophisticated network in small, definable steps. The system can evolve through several phases of development - according to your budget.

CLAN is an open system. Read and write various linear & reduced audio formats - in real time - your answer to the Babel-like conditions in today's format jungle. Supported formats: *.cut, *.wav, *.mus, *.snd, *.mp2, *.mpg, *.aif, *.afc, *.dcs, *.au.

By connecting a masterCART (On-Air Live Assist) to the main console you can broadcast the previously assembled playlist, while archived, scheduled, and standby audio remains individually controlled using the console faders.

MasterCART controls up to three stereo channels. The audio is 'pulled' by the CUTbase Client and comes on air directly from the server. The integrated CARTwall features full HotKey support, and each wall-button can be assigned its own individual color.

With masterCART you can edit playlists, audition and load jingles, trailers or ID's into the integrated CARTwall. Fades and crossfades are possible by using up to three stereo output channels. Connect the output channels to your mixing desk for live broadcasting - the mixing desk remains in control.
