AudioCaster -
Automatically "ON THE AIR"
AudioCaster is the new radio broadcasting automation programm from SEK'D. Non-commercial
radio stations, local stations, schools, universities, hospitals, health
resorts and military institutions are only a few potential users.
AudioCaster is a software-based programming application for the compilation
of radio programs. It has been designed especially for use in local and
regional radio stations.
The software program is well laid-out and can be operated intuitively. To
integrate AudioCaster into existing mixers and to facilitate convenient fader
start control, an appropriate interface card has been included.
Important Features of AudioCaster:
offers the most important broadcast functions - well
laid-out, to be handled in a simple and intuitive way.

CLAN (CUTmaster Linear Audio Network)
CLAN is the digital, networked solution for almost every daily broadcast
production service. CLAN is fully scalable. Either you can use CLAN
effectively as a complete solution for smaller radio facilities or implement
CLAN modules into existing radio automation systems via the integrated
software interfaces.
Individual components (CUTmaster, masterCART, CUTbase, EVENT, etc.) can be
used independently or as a complete system.
This modular approach makes possible the development of a large,
sophisticated network in small, definable steps. The system can evolve
through several phases of development - according to your budget.
CLAN is an open system. Read and write various linear & reduced audio
formats - in real time - your answer to the Babel-like conditions in today's
format jungle. Supported formats: *.cut, *.wav, *.mus, *.snd, *.mp2, *.mpg,
*.aif, *.afc, *.dcs, *.au.
By connecting a masterCART (On-Air Live Assist) to the main console you can
broadcast the previously assembled playlist, while archived, scheduled, and
standby audio remains individually controlled using the console faders.
MasterCART controls up to three stereo channels. The audio is 'pulled' by the
CUTbase Client and comes on air directly from the server. The integrated
CARTwall features full HotKey support, and each wall-button can be assigned
its own individual color.
With masterCART you can edit playlists, audition and load jingles, trailers
or ID's into the integrated CARTwall. Fades and crossfades are possible by
using up to three stereo output channels. Connect the output channels to your
mixing desk for live broadcasting - the mixing desk remains in control.
EasyCUT XP (CUTmaster Linear Audio Network)
Audioworkstation for mobile use with a notebook - editors, newsmen, OB van,
journalists and correspondents
Compare it to the rest! It's simply the best for fast, easy voice edits,
topical events.
Easy to learn - Easy to use. Linear or MPEG Layer2. Or mixed mode.
The ideal tool for editors and correspondents.
The Audio Editor for your studio on the road or at home.
Running on your existing soundblaster card or any other compatible
audiocards.
Arranging, cutting or fading, everything is done within very few steps.
And if you want to transmit your report via ISDN, just save your material as
an mpeg, digas or dalet file - depending on whom you want to reach.
You can also record your audio in MPEG realtime - conversion from linear to
MPEG with such a system will be processed at 4x times realtime.
Obviously you can also mix and playback linear and compressed file formats
within one arrangement.
Since
it outputs also linear and various reduced audio formats, you are able to transmit
directly to your broadcast station via ISDN or modem. Using EasyCUT, the
broadcast world is wide open - for a very attractive price - no matter
where you are.

Edit reports for breaking news events on location with EasyCUT, transmit the
audio immediately via ISDN or Software Codec to the overseas office, or, for
very important events, even directly to the home broadcasting station. With
EasyCUT the correspondent's workstation is no longer limited to a location in
the overseas office - it's wherever the action is.
